Our Focus
Cognitive and Executive Function Skills
Cognitive skills enable us to experience and learn from different stimuli. They include perception, attention, memory and logical reasoning and have more to do with how we learn vs. what we know.
Executive function skills, according to Harvard University’s Center on the Developing Child, are brain-based skills to plan, organize, concentrate, follow instructions, and multi-task. They enable us to get things done and often referred to as CEO of the brain.
